One environmental stewardship initiative that has been extremely popular with NYSEG and RG&E customers is the Catch the Wind program. Through this program, customers are given the opportunity to purchase clean, renewable wind-generated electricity. Customers who participate in the program are expected to use more than 90 million kilowatt-hours of wind-generated electricity in 2009.
